ENGINEERED AND DESIGNED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS

LUFKIN Rods’ extremely accurate precision CNC lathes coupled with our unique manufacturing approach, ensures the outer diameter and inner diameter is precisely concentric for consistent wall-thickness throughout. This eliminates stress concentrations due to eccentric wallthickness.

An enhanced face is provided to maximize the contact area between the coupling and pin shoulder. This improved design fosters consistent circumferential displacement (CD) and preload stress values during makeup; i.e., potentially reducing connection-related failures. In addition, all couplings are furnished with cold-formed threads to provide additional fatigue resistance.

All LUFKIN Couplings are manganese phosphate coated for corrosion protection, anti-galling, and lubricity. The product identification markings are on the inside counter bore for traceability after installation.

MADE IN AMERICA

LUFKIN Rods is the only privately owned and operated Sucker Rod manufacturing plant in the USA. All our products are sourced and manufactured domestically, and our advanced manufacturing plant ensures the highest quality possible. Our automated systems continually monitor the manufacturing process and ensures the quality is consistent from start to finish. Throughout the entire manufacturing process, our quality control is unmatched in the industry to meet the needs of our customers’ most demanding well conditions. LUFKIN Rods will help you meet or exceed your production goals, and can offer expert help with predictive designs, product selection, failure analysis, training and much more. Put our experienced team to work for you and let us help you reduce your failure rates and improve your bottom line.

GRADE TA

Recommended for medium-to-deep wells and/or moderate-to-heavy rod loads and corrosive fluids that are effectively inhibited to prevent corrosion.

GRADE TAS

Recommended to increase corrosion abrasion resistance, Grade TAS couplings have a hard, spray metal coating on the outer diameter.
