Industrial /Technical North East Regional Sales Representative (Pittsburgh Area)

The successful candidate will demonstrate an enthusiastic, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills. Strong technical or mechanical aptitude is a plus.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Develops and maintains extensive customer contact to efficiently facilitate sales levels of pumping units that are appropriate for market activity for LUFKIN's Oilfield Division.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited University required; Oilfield experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. and to apply mathematical concepts.
  • Regional travel required upon assignment

Firmware Programmer (Sugarland, TX)

Lufkin Automation is a Division of Lufkin Industries, Inc. and a leader in the development, manufacture, sales and service of technically advanced, electronic well automation equipment and the premier supplier of artificial lift optimization and training with emphasis on increasing profits for oil and gas producers through minimized operating costs and optimum production.

This position is involved in new development projects and supports existing products by resolving issues and implementing enhancements.

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming language skills
  • General understanding of machine language
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices
  • Knowledge of Linux development a plus
  • 3-4 years experience

Good problem-solving and communication skills are also required in order to work with system users, field technicians, and other programmers.

  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Computer Engineering

Oilfield Operations Analyst (Houston, TX)

This position will require knowledge and skill in the following areas:

Conducts analyses of management and operational problems, plans, and coordinates with information system projects to ensure goals or objectives of project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding.

RESPONIBILITIES

  • Analyze the area P&L's and RONA on a daily/monthly basis
  • Manage the monthly forecast and annual budget process and provide deviation analysis.
  • Assist in developing metrics and reporting for Continuous Improvement Project (MAP, Lean, Value Engineering, Kaizens, etc.)
  • Publish Daily Analysis Reports
  • Track order profitability before and after shipment and identify differences to quoted and estimated cost.
  • Manage annual standards update and analyze variances to standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of AFE economic justifications & in AFE audit process.
  • Provide trend analysis on sales, margins, manufacturing costs, etc.
  • Identify cost and inventory reduction opportunities
  • Develop and monitor inventory control procedures and slow-moving inventory analysis
  • Identify potential journal entries for the Accounting Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar degree.
  • Manage the monthly forecast and annual budget process and provide deviation analysis.
  • Assist in developing metrics and reporting for Continuous Improvement Project (MAP, Lean, Value Engineering, Kaizens, etc.)
  • Publish Daily Analysis Reports
  • 2-3 years experience in financial/operations analysis in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting
  • Ability to perform complex financial modeling and analysis
  • ERP and Crystal report-writing experience a plus
